M35 Roof Rails

Hey anyone know how the plastic roof rail covers come off ?

Looks like they clip off but would be good to know which way to pull / pry them

Not the small covers over the factory mount points, I mean the whole thing.

I wanna see if there is a third anchor point at the back

I started to pry it off from the back.

I can see plastic prong clips, but now it's getting hard to go any further.

Afraid of cracking it.

I want to know the same thing but i think the interior roof lining may need to be removed as i saw a few bolts when i gimmied it slightly

I might take my roof out tomorrow and see what i can see

The clip at the back of the rail pushes toward the front of the car to release.

I don't believe they bolt on, but a panel shop would be my port of call if you really want to know.
Pay them a few bucks to remove; once you know how, putting them back on should be a snack.

I can confirm that there are no bolts under the roof lining

Did you have a crack at trying to unmount it buy pushing it forwards I tried mine but by pulling up which unclipped the rears but now can get them to clip back in

no, not going to try anymore, don't want to snap it.

I bet a replacement will be hard to find too.
