Faulty Speedometer

Hey all.

Just bought another r33 with a few issues as i like to buy them cheap to fix up and also keep them from the scrapyard if they arent quite too far gone

This particular one has a few issues i am not used to fixing such as a steering wheel that clicks a few times per rotation, a horn that doesnt work (im thinking they may be related?) had the wheel off and took the counterweight out but no difference or obvious signs of an issue

But the issue really bugging me the most and cant find any similar issues posted i thought ild get one out there

My speedo will act like it doesnt work and sit on zero til i reach a certain kmh i think around 70-80 and then it jumps in and says im doing 110kmh and 125kmh when im still doing less than 100kmh.

Your expertees and experience would be much apreciated

speedo sensor or speedo cable i would guess

I had a similar issue and it was because there was some shit gunked up somehow in the needle assembly, i ended up swapping dashes and it worked perfectly so try that
