Hi All ,

does anyone know how I can work out if the ecu below is standard or changed ?

I know some suppliers do provide a plug and play ecu which you take the current board out and replace it .

Mine has some wire cuts on the wiring which suggests that may have been changed .

also when you connect to the car using consult port, do you just open the key as with obd 2 or do you need to switch the car on ?

what software do you recommend that is free ?
