You know what means richer engine? As in, what is it that you say you know means you will end up with a richer engine? Because the statement doesn't make sense, but maybe you actually mean something else.

And no, you should not relocate the AFM closer to the turbo, That is the worst thing you could do to it. And why would you even come up with the idea? What problem is it helping you to solve?

Rich meaning more fuel between gears and idle due to maf counting air for it

What i am trying to address is keep the sound of bov . Hate it when it is silent

Mhave read around and most people have done what i suggested and refer to it as blow through setup

Some say it shortens the life of maf due to intake pressure

I posted here in case i could get any other ideasapart from sarcastic replies

Recirculating BOV = better mixture control.

Venting BOV = stupidly rich when it dumps air.

Moving the AFM to a position CLOSER to the turbo inlet will do nothing to change any of that, and do to aerodynamic considerations, will be worse anyway.

Moving the AFM to a position AFTER the turbo outlet, your "blow through" configuration, is not possible without retuning the ECU. If you do do it, there is no way to make it useful unless you relocate the BOV to a position BEFORE the AFM. And even then the venting air will probably travel backwards through the BOV, giving stupid mixtures.

I must stress, if you provided a well constructed question in the first place you wouldn't get what sounds like a sarcastic reply. It only sounds sarcastic to you because it actually was sarcastic but I was trying to keep the sarcasm down to a low level.

And, once again, your questions regarding this silly AFM relocation idea have been asked and answered a million times before. You could search for this information. The first mentions will be LAST CENTURY.

that is the issue mate. I have been member number of forums and when I help I try to or if I don't have anything nice to say then I will be quite .

they way you have it in mind is this website been wiki and no one is allowed to ask a single question unless the read the entire net which is just silly .

I didn't know the pipe name but someone pointed out so then soon read about it and having knowledge of cars did make sense of it .

and of course the whole relocating etc came from searching and pasting it here to see if there is any other option.

But seems as if I am talking to a brick wall that keeps telling me to search and that is all i get .

i get it mate and do search but doesn't harm if some people being nice and put useful posts up rather than blah blah bla

anyway thanks for the input .

I probably get the hks recir valve that also have the hissing sound
