My experience with streetcars with turbos and cams, stay on the small side of duration. I chose Poncam A's for my 2.75L stroker motor with ported head, +0.5mm SS valves, retainers, springs, etc. Just wanted a touch more duration and lift than factory. I won't be able to tell you what they do different, but then again, I'm pretty extreme on setup with BW 8374EFR turbo and all.

Went with Type R ( 250, 9.15mm) with my 83/74 RB26.. how does yours drive ? boost response ? I'M thinking about selling back my bran dnew type-R and simply use the stock cam. A few thing unexpected broke on my car so I could save the money there and put it on something else..

Don't know yet. Still under the knife currently. (build thread here if you wanted to know where I'm at). Believe me, when I'm done you will have LOTS of data regarding my setup.

There is definitely gains to be made from cams, tho just increasing the duration just shifts the power curve higher up the rev range. (So more lag down low more power up top) higher lift should help get more air in/out so more power. If you don't worry bout lag down low n want more power up top go more duration, but I wouldn't go more then 260 with those turbos. I got 270's n -5's, so my car is pretty laggy just driving around, but is good fun when the power comes on, which I think makes up for the lag so doesn't worry me too much.
