Has anyone else got this setup as I am about to get???

I want to know what Air Intake you're running & if you're getting any O2 Sensor Errors with yours?

Apparently they are not worth the time, money or effort. Most reviews don't paint them in a positive light. The more popular option is the Cosworth setup.

Or for much less money get the Kinetix V+ plenum for VERY similar (if not superior) results.

I test drove a car with this very setup, also had a stillen CAI. Honestly, I did not notice any difference with this set up or the stock one. To be fair though, it's hard to put a car through its paces with the dealer sitting next to you. I didn't buy it as it had the check airbag light on the dash, and by the time I found out it was an easy fix, the car had gone.

It sure sounded nice though...

Isn't the above picture what a Velocity Plenum is Andrew?

Cosworth Twin Air Intake USD: $1,342 vs Kinetix Velocity Plenum USD: $758.

Well obviously anything with a dual air intake will piss over a single air intake anyday.

Like the 370GT's have...

Cosworth is the photo below, correct?

What about O2 issues.

Anyone have issues with aftermarket Plenums or Manifolds on here???

I can't imagine any intake mod would cause O2 sensor issues, except maybe oiled air filters that mess up the MAF??. things like aftermarket cats, or test pipes tend to trigger O2 issues.

Damn I would of got the CAT combo one if I knew about it before!!!

As an Exhaust shop was saying it was going to be $1,500 for a set of CATS if I needed to replace mine in the future!

How do the In-Line Resonator pipes;

(http://www.kinetixracing.com/kinetix_350Z_and_G35_resonated_test_pipes.aspx)

produce slightly more rwhp???, Than the S.S Test Pipes;

(http://www.kinetixracing.com/kinetix_350Z_and_G35_test_pipes.aspx)

Or shall I go for the Spun CAT design (http://www.kinetixracing.com/kinetix_350Z_and_G35_high-flow_catalytic_converters.aspx)

with improved strength & more clearance???

As when I bought the car, the front left CAT was touching the underbody when under load.

After the exhaust system got fitted, its been better after some slight man power bending.

But I can still hear it when uphill in 1st gear taking off!

You can't run a V+ Plenum with an SSV Manifold can you???

Just have a look at the intakes.. the V+ is clearly designed to fit on top of the factory lower plenum. The SSV is a complete replacement manifold, so no way the V+ could fit along with it.

As for the CAT pipes.. I can't imagine much difference in performance in the top 2, maybe a bit of noise difference. the lower one at least won't make the car illegal (assuming it meets the minimum standard in Aust). Either way, they aren't going to give you much of a gain.
