Wondering if anyone's done this before?

Before I continue, I know the Oil gauge sucks, I know the Boost doesn't read >10 and isn't measured in PSI; don't care, aiming for a stock look that looks nice.

The nitty gritty...

I know volts/temp work fine.

Wondering how to convert current mechanical boost line / VAC line to electronic? Under the impression that R32 non GTR don't have a stock electronic boost solenoid? How would I go about working around this?

If you Google "R32 centre gauges into GTST" you will find that indeed it has been done (many times) before and all will be revealed.

personally I wouldn't bother. Only because the gauges are so old now that they are mostly useless.

My voltage gauge reads 11.5 when it's really at 14v

my boost gauge reads -200mmhg when it's at atmospheric pressure (engine off)

oil temp peaked at 100c on the track where it's unlikely to have been less than 120. I don't have another way of measuring unfortunately.

I don't mean to rain on your parade. The stock look is nice but the gauges belong in the bin unfortunately. If you like a clean look, the Defi Din triple gauge option would be nice; although it's $500 or so

If you followed your own advice, you'd fine that's not true.

There is no information re: whether or not the GTR gauges are plug & play into GTST/4. Most aftermarket gauges are mechanical and GTR are electronic; hence thread.

Anfanee, are the Defi temp/temp/press only? Or is there an option w/ a Boost gauge?

+1 to the defi din gauges. Got them setting next to me.

I can haz for free anfanee?

nah no boost gauge unfortunately

Can't imagine wanting boost in your center console, needs to be somewhere you can see it when you're hektic boostin' and should hopefully have your eyes on the road...

Meh. I only ever used the boost gauge for double checking rpm and max boost because of mbc's problems with the ball and spring. Boost gauge is now in the glovebox where it serves it's purpose for double checking.
