Wanting opinions on clutches for a R32 GTR

Power output Will be around 350-400wkw.

From what I gather the Nismo super coppermix twin plate is best stock feeling and rated to 700hp or there abouts.

Is this right?

Drags won't be a huge part of driving neither will big launches but will certainly see some of both. Circuit work being main use.

I can see why people ask questions over n over again.

I'm guilty of it too!!!

So don't worry about this mistake.

SAU search is crap (sorry ) I use google.com search then put sau at the end. finds what I want on SAU.

Use Nismo from all I gather from reading online it's dam good.

Solid center clutches are much more prone to damaging gearboxes. The Nismo has a sprung center, so TCO may be cheaper once you consider the gearbox repair costs...

Are the Jim Berrys solid or sprung center?

have any of you driven with a jim berry? feels like a factory clutch yet handling 3rd gear standstill drop into powerskid. and only $300 to rebuild when the time comes. Customer service, value for money he is unbeatable

yes it feels like factory if by factory you mean feels like it came out of a 12ton truck

Have driven one and was one of the worst clutches for street driving I have ever used. Nismo twin for street driving every time, feels factory and holds over 475wkw in a Gtr

Just a FYI, there might be an issue with availability with Jim Berry's clutches.

He has moved shop & I understand is now doing less working hours then before. Last I spoke to him a few weeks back he mentioned this.

So I just got the Nismo twin for my car & all is well. Very impressed with it. +1
