Manne so what tool did you end up using?

I always find this handy as the straps never work or the metal band crimps.

But this guy at a tool shop once showed me this wired tool the looks like long nose pliers but with metal spikes that bite in he said its messy and last resort sorry can't find a pic for that 1

I like the chain wrench

They've only got 1.1's I don't know how to gap. Unless u go iridium. What gap am I meant to have?

Go 0.8mm

Up to 1.1 may be ok for your car for the time being but will be more prone to missfire and you'll lose nothing by dropping them a bit but everything to gain.

I tap them gently on the side of a hammer and check with feeler gauges.

About 6-10 gentle taps gets me from 0.8 down to 0.6

So considering I don't drive much at all (probably 10,000kms per year) I should just get platinum/copper?

Also, morning all, nice, cold and wet this morning!

I'd never go platinum personally. Copper are cheap and on standard car should do 20-40k km's or more. Iridium might be good for double that

I use coppers (same as skyline plug) in my work car and just changed them last month after 200 000kms so on non turbo they are good for ages

For those wondering, Ellie said she's tired aha.

I need to re-seal my seal job, as this cold/warm weather created small gaps on it :). I'm also going to gap my spark plugs today and throw them in the car.

Thank you for the translation [emoji28]

You're always tired. Supplements?
