Rb30 + Rb25 Turbo - What Intake Pipe Can I Use?

Hello All,

I'm new here. But the other day i picked up a R31 with a RB30 +t in it.

The turbo it is running is a rb25 turbo.

Now, it has no intake pipe and or filter to the front of the turbo.

Its very tight in there and i'm a bit concerned on what will be able to fit,

I was just wondering if anyone was running a similar setup and had encountered this problem and solved it before.

It is a stock manifold so its in the lowmount configuration so space is tight.

Yeah a photo may be good. I haven't heard of people having issues with the standard low mount manifold intake piping. Surely some 3' piping will fit?

Is it a det (with a DOHC rb25 head) or just a turboed SOHC 30?

I'm going to try a 3inch - 2.5 inch reducer and use a short 45 degree Bend to try and angle it down slightly.

If that fails i will post a photo on here.
