Almost done guys. Quick question.

Would a walbo pump support 500hp at max. Im looking for a fuel pump thats intank but not to expensive.

Was looking at walbo GSS342.

I guess i should ask what does the oem pump support as well:unsure:

Thanks in advance

I have a Walbro GSS341 255LPH in my tank and they are rated at 500hp but I have only run mine to about 300hp - after that I got a surge tank and another pump so now the Walbro is just a lift pump. I have my doubts that it wold be work at 500hp but if you get a brand new one and directly wire it with a relay to get full battery voltage you would probably get pretty close. The next one up is the 400lph pump which costs about 50% more and is rated at 750hp. I would doubt the stock pump would do the job and of course being quite ancient now it could fail at any time.

Oh, don't buy the 400Lph, they are not a great pump. Get the 416Lph e85 one. They flow around 450kw on e85, probably near 600kw on petrol.

The 255 will flow 300kw on e85 and around 400kw on petrol, (all at the wheels.) depending on pressure.

The 416lph is a drop intank pump. Do they fit in the original r32 gtr fuel pump location. Or is there some sort of modification thats needed. I know the 255 in one of my silvias were a perfect fit. Walbro provided all the necessary parts with the pump.

Thanks ill look up the 416lph.

Oh i cant use e85 fuel not avalible here. will that pump work for petrol. Or.race fuel

Opps i just noticed that you mentioned petrol :D

The GTR has a completely different setup, but it's usually nothing a stainless hose clamp or two won't fix. More important is to work out the sock hose length, as I am always seeing low level surge issues with GTR pump installs.

The stock GTR pump would probably be fine if it wasn't so old.
