My kit arrived today. Looking forward to getting some decent brakes under the Stagea.

Great! I was just waiting to hear back if it had been sent lol >.<

My kit has arrived. Time to start looking at what I want to do with the master cylinder arrangement, and the rear brakes.

Might look closely at a twin MC with balance bar and upgrade the whole system.

Hey so for the uninitiated (or the unintelligent) is this upgrade to the BMC required? I have an R32 GT-R if that matters. Cheers

I believe the R32 GTR already has a BM57 BMC, which is what is recommended for the kit. I will confirm and let you know if that is not the case.

Also, is this upgrade likely to impact RWC?

Unsure how strict Vic is with RWc's. Sorry I don't have any info, might be best investigating with someone in your state :)

Not the case, V spec may be different

Hmm, apologies, I was under the impression all GTR R32/33/34 had the BM57 BMC.

Can you confirm what it does have Joe? :D

is this group buy still going on?????

No it finished some time ago.

There will be an upcoming group buy for the rear kit however, I will chat with the guys and see if the front kit can be incorporated in to the same group buy :)

Keen for a GB on the rear brake adaptors. Bought their front kit and it works wonders!!

Should be happening soon, I believe they are just finalising a few things with the kit, it will be on display at WTAC though, so if not before it should be very close. I have made a list of people who have expressed an interest and will message everyone once the group buy is up :)

Could you let me know if your doing another group buy as I will need the front adapter brackets for the brembos on the front of my r32 Gtr and possibly the rears to pls

Perhaps send a PM to timmy_89 if you haven't already as he is the organiser of the group buys and there has been a more recent one at:

    • Ohh even easier.   Go dial up 700rpm on the hand controller. Rip off the TPS plug, wait till the idle drops and then adjust the IACV screw so it's just a tad below the target on the hand controller (say 650rpm), plug the TPS back in and idle will climb back to target. Done.
    • Hey Sleepergm, I love your inlet piping, do u mind sharing who did the work, please? cheers, Ian
    • Yeah, you want the IACV to be running at around 30 "units", variously called "steps" or "duty cycle" depending on the person. That gives it room to go lower if need be and higher ditto.
    • Ah right that makes sense.
    • The RPM is just a target, the ECU will adjust things to try and hit that target but it's by no means guaranteed. If the IACV duty cycle is 0 or something like that and it's actually closing up fully then the idle is as low as it can physically go without reducing ignition timing. The problem can be something like the cold start valve in the IACV not closing fully, worn throttle shaft seals, torn rubber diaphragm in the brake booster allowing unmetered air, etc.
