Ecu Code 12

hey the car has been having problems so i ran the ecu test and it came up code 12 which is afm, i opened my afm up and resoldered it and cleaned it but didnt fix it, tge weird thing is the car still runs well and i have a safc installed which shows that the afm is working and measuring the airflow. but it must be damaged enough for the ecu to detect it as bad, so is there maybe something else that can make an error code 12 come up beside the afm?

Yes, the SAFC.

Have you checked the wiring between the SAFC and the ecu?

yes i bypassed the safc afm wire so it was straight through to the ecu and still the same error
