This has been my NisTune/Consult/FAST machine for a couple of years it has worked reliably in that time. Its the perfect size for getting in and of of the car etc (2.2 Kg), coming with a cigarette lighter power supply means you never have to worry about battery. It uses a serial port PLMS (excellent quality) Consult cable.

Dell Latitude D400
2GHz CPU / 1GB SDRAM
80GB HDD
12.1" LCD / WiFi (G)
Windows XP PRO SP3 License on underside

PLMS Serial Consult Cable
12V Cigarette power supply (90W unit costing about $70)
2 x Dell 240V power supplies
Docking Station, see below for ports.
External DVD drive, plugs into laptop or docking station.

Installed Software:

Windows XP Professional SP3 (COA on base, Genuine Dell installation media included)
Nissan FAST Spare Parts catalogue
Conzult Free
Conzult Manual, excellent for gaining understanding on how to use consult type software.
Nistune Demo (4 starts remaining)
Nissan DataScan 1.6 Demo (Limited functionality)
Nissan Z32 Factory Workshop Manual in PDF

Small side cover missing, picture below, never bothered me.
Battery only good for about 10 minutes. (Cigarette Power Supply Included)
Case finish is coming of in a few places, OK for workshop not boardroom.
Left hand Alt key came off, its ok it has two. redface.gif
Front right click button not working, I just use the one forward of the track pad.

All pretty minor and have little effect for intended use.

Complete fresh software install, runs very well, 30 seconds to desktop, 50 odd seconds to browser.

Hey mate where are you located?

Any idea if consult can diagnose and/or clear a flashing airbag light?

(Had wheel changed stock for stock with original module, been flashing ever since)

Car is running a Haltech ECU but hoping consult could still read the separate SRS system...

I use it for Nissan Z32 300ZX Twin Turbo but it should work for a R33 GT-R, see the list below other Nissans of similar period should also work if they have the Consult plug as above.

Not sure if it will see the air bag ECU with the Haltech in place but there is only one way to find out, I'm Brisbane southside.
