Clutch Master Cylinder

Hello All,

Just a quick question i was hoping someone could help me with, ive done a few searches but i couldnt find an answer. My apologies if one exists.

Does the clutch master cylinder located next to the brake master cylinder use the same fluid? i.e brake fluid?

Mine is running a little low, and i was thinking of toping it up, but not sure with what fluid and if i needed to do anything extra, like draining it first as u cant mix old and new fluids?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey,

Yeah it uses brake fluid. Most preferbly Dot 3. But I think thats pretty much the standard out there. Mine was leakling on my 32 once before. got it replaced...You'll have to keep topping up the fluid.
