Disabling The Internal Siren

re 2001 M35

Anyone know where the internal siren is for the alarm ?

My alarm is malfunctioning and setting off the alarm when I open the doors occasionally.

Need to find the bastard and cut the wires.

If its the nissan alarm with 2 internal entry sensors and the key fob the siren is above the TCU in the passenger footwell, from memory just remove the glovebox and you can just unplug it. The alarm module is above the accelerator pedal you can unplug this as well to stop the red light flashing.. Again from memory its attached to another module for the fold in mirrors and such so make sure you unplug the correct one. Its not an immobiliser so removing it doesn't affect anything...

I disabled the siren a while ago but the alarm keeps tripping even while I'm driving.

There might be an immobiliser but it's not active.

Hazard light flash only buy annoying.

Can't clearly see what to unplug above the accelerator pedal.

Any pointers ?

Is this the same as the buzzer that goes off when you have the keys in the accessory position to listen to the radio with the door open.

Would love to disconnect that as it's really annoying.
