R32 Gtr 94 Gunmetal 15k

Recommended Posts

Selling my r32 gtr which I have owned for a very short time. It was involved in a horrific accident a month ago so I need to get rid of it mainly because I do not want to be reminded of the accident. It still has more than 8 months rego on it and fully complied. I cannot afford to fix it as I was quoted around $5000 to fix it. It needs work done to the front end and the rear quarter panel as well. I'm selling this for 15k firm nothing under that because I'm ready to loose a few thousands because this cast has cost me 25k all up but nothing more. We all know what these cars are worth and I would keep it and save up to get it fixed but like I said I need it gone asap. Everything on the cars still works flawlessly and the motor is 100% and absolutely nothing wrong with it. I just recently did a big service on it with the right oils, oil filters etc. I will not be posting any photos of it on here for personal reasons that I have but if your keen on a cheap r32 gtr then send me a pm.

About the car:

Year: r32 gtr 94

Colour: grey

Mileage: 103k

Condition: completely stock with r33 wheels MINUS the damage from the accident

Location: Sydney

Rego: about 8 months

Price: 15k FIRM!!!!

Sorry about the unorthodox post but given the circumstances its very hard to even look at the car. I can disclose a bit more info in a personal message. I'll try and add the list of parts the panel beater said I needed to give you an idea of what's required to fix it.

    • -6dB at 22Hz isn't that great, watch the data from the D6000 from REW
    • I'll just leave this here. https://www.adelaidespeakers.com/subwoofers.html TL loading, big power. They sound awesome. This is what I would buy if I was going to try to take the bass away from my floorstanders. Just go with the 12".
    • I'll snap up some photos when I'm back home, in the office today meeting my "in the office" quota. Have 2x Teams calls scheduled in, office culture they reckon.   I've never owned a proper off the shelf sub, I've always made or modified broken ones with Jaycar plate amps and/or car subwoofer drivers. The current (and broken) subwoofer has a proper home driver in it, Dayton driver, thos one https://www.daytonaudio.com/product/118/rss265hf-4-10-reference-hf-subwoofer-4-ohm FS of 25Hz, which is low but not low enough. Yeah, I think they were brought out to the market to compete with SVS. I would love a SVS PB-3000 but they're not cheap, especially after their price hike. From reviews online, it does look like the Tonewinner D6000 would destroy and with good amount of money saved too.
    • yeah, that happens too.  I'm really enjoying 4WDing at the moment, seen a few beautiful spots and want to go explore more of this enormous country.  The 370Z got a clutch LSD in it and a track day, great fun.  Getting the back end sorted out really rejuvenated my enthusiasm for driving it hard, the viscous one is poo especially in such a short and wide chassis.  The VLSD unpredictability was more benign in a long and skinny Skyline.
    • With my pre/power I use a remote trigger cable(3.5mm jack each end). I turn tv on, it turns both on via ARC. Or, just the pre with the remote or its streaming software, turns on both. Not that difficult at all. Obviously,  you would also want to actually update/upgrade over other factors in your life(bills, family, other hobbies, etc)
