So the latest dick-head of the week, as I'm sure most of u would of heard about, was the Skyline doing 200 odd kays up Western Ring Road on L plates. Wow! Come on, this is why the police target performence cars, because there has to be a wanker who dosen't care for their lives or people around them. I think it shouldn't have happend. This is why it's becoming harder to go out and have a good cruise on a Sunday. What makes these people think ???? Share your thoughts on this please.

If she was on her L plates than it is the fault of the supervising driver. I cant believe that a parent or anyone else for that matter who is over 21 could allow someone who is only 16/17 to drive that fast, and sit next to them in the car! Idiots

They should be shot, its called euthanasia.

The Ring Road is definitely not the place to give the speedo a shake...

Regardless of the cameras.

I wonder what it would have been like if this forum was around 30 years ago. I can bet you we would be having "These new 0.05 laws are BS" threads every week. Because we would all be confident we know our limits. It is the same with our current attitude to speeding. We all think we are able to be responsible and pick the right time...

But how does the government work out which of us our kidding ourselves and which of us actually are responsible. Easiest solution is to get rid of the question ban all speeds above which Mr Clueless in his crapmobile can get into trouble.

was she pulled over or just caught by the camera's?

my guess is she is gonna fight and say that the camera's are broken and arent working and try to get away with it, meaning that she could of possibly planned it out like that.

hopefully she gets smacked on the head

Oh dear...

At least we know police ignore anonymous complaints.

The thread in General says that she recently won $1.2million in the lottery!

LOL... oh well...

    • Excuse me for butting in....but which part of ADHD can be considered a superpower? I would have though it far more likely that some ASD comorbidity is more likely to be contributing to an ability to hyperfocus on something. ADHD being aimed somewhat in the other direction. My shed looks like your shed. My whiteboard list of unfinished projects has entries going back 15 years. I know what you're talking about - I just struggle to connect ADHD to the results being discussed.
    • Thanks for reaching out!  It's a blessing and a curse at the same time.  I'm undiagnosed but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see it in me... I have more half started projects laying around my house, shed, garden, etc taking up space and money, destroying aesthetics than if I added up all of my mates projects together. But, ADHD gives me the ability to hyper focus on things that no mere mortal could even  comprehend.  A recent pool build is an example of that....  I dont know anyone else that would be dumb enough and focused enough to take on then complete something of that magnitude. I call ADHD a superpower but it can equally be completely destructive if not controlled and focusedon the right places. Addiction is a major concern to ADHD people and thankfully my addictions have been no worse than projects, XBOX, chocolate and being an arsehole! It's often hereditary and my 13 year old son is currently learning how to drive it at the moment. Keep lurking! If i can finally finish this bloody thing at some point it will be a win for all of us ADHD'ers! 馃お
    • I've been quietly following this thread for ages, but this one got me. Since my ADHD diagnosis (and associated learnings and prescription) I'm way less inclined to wade into forum yarns when there are better things to do with my time, as half the time I'd end up in some kind of forum debate even if that wasn't my intention. I've not lost the ADHD "superpowers", just am a lot better at directing my hyperfocus into slightly more constructive things, but haven't stopped quietly lurking in here in my spare time.
    • Stripped the tank down and gave it a good scrub. It came up really good! Not sure if I'll just put it back in like that or give it a blackening treatment (such as Bowdens The Black Box). That might give it a matte look so might just run it as is.
    • @MBS206 Ha ha, yeah ADHD is a daily battle to not get drawn in to doing things you want to do that you know you shouldn't do!  Every single time I walk into my shed I end up doing something I started the day having zero intention of doing! I keep mentioning the 1 step forward, 3 steps back scenario and I'm tipping people that are blessed with ADHD (yes, blessed) are the worst at that!
