Rb30e Bad Misfire

Good morning , after some assistance please.

I have an R32 skyline skid hack which I'm converting to a drift hack

Long story short , engine runs like shit.

Already checked the MAF , spark plug wires and spark plug gap. The engine is getting fuel. There is a air escaping sound from the pod filter.

Any help much appreciated.

Pretty sure it's not misfiring. That sounds more like it has a lumpy cam. Could also just be the exhaust piping / mufflers.

Does it drive ok? Because that is when you will really notice a misfire.

It won't be air escaping, it will be air rushing into the pod filter.

Go on the R31 Skyline club forum and search for CAS (look on the wiki).

Also change AFM. Check the wiring as well.

Have you reset the timing?
