Rb30/25 Help

I have a rb30 series 1 engine and I'm wanting to do a twin cam conversion.

Is this possible with a series 1 block?

I hear that the difference is the series 1 has no oil or water inlet/outlets but can't I just tap some in?

Any tips or help is much appreciated thanks guys!

There are tonnes of threads on here about your very questions.

The lack of oil and water is not a concern, it's the lack of a spot to easily mount the idler.

Just straight up but it's still acceivable?

Like you can still tap in a tensioner?

I just wanna know can I do it or do I need a series 2.

If there's a flat machined surface for the idler you are all good.
