Flash89
hey there peeps, i am stumped at finding where this problem is, i get this small shaking in the steering wheel at about 100km/h but the thing is sometimes goes away i think when taking a slight bend but not 100% sure the thing i have done so far is, balanced front wheels, i have check for any play on the front end, all good there and i also have put in hub centric rings too i have notice a bit of play in my rear end seem the tie rod ends at the rear are shot but will i wouldnt think that would cause the steering shake at the front or would it? Hadouken
Have been in a car where a rear wheel buckle caused the steering to shake.Get all wheels balanced. And what tyres are you running? Have also had shit tyres that caused the steering to shake no matter who balanced them Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/457860-steering-shake-at-100kmh-onwards-but-sometimes-goes-away/#findComment-7558978 Share on other sites
junkie
I've had lumpy tyres that caused shake too, something worth checking. Once car felt like someone was tugging on the steering wheel at low speeds Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/457860-steering-shake-at-100kmh-onwards-but-sometimes-goes-away/#findComment-7558984 Share on other sites

Ryno
I had a similar problem that I lived with for years... Felt like a front wheel imbalance, but would come and go at different times. I finally fixed it when I swapped out the stock inner bushes (with Nolathane items) on the front lower control arms.
