From what I hear, it's a pretty difficult venture at the moment. If you can wait, then by all means, keep scouring but I know there's no way I'd wait even just for the simple fact that it's cold out there (and gets occasionally wet)! :P

Have you found out from your local dealership's spares division how much you'd be looking at for a new one? If you're in Sydney, try my pick of the bunch - Steve Jarvin Nissan.

Why not try Nissan? Have you contacted them yet?

From my experience, Nissan take a maximum of 10 business days to receive anything from Japan and considering that this is the 10th business day from your first post, I would imagine that you could have been dropping your V36 in to Nissan this morning to have the window fitted.

Anyone ?.. Damn this annoying... So hard to get even a window these day... God please gelp

Trust me, if anyone knew of a better source (or if there was a God), you would've been told by now.

Not sure which dealership you spoke to but in Sydney, I know my favourite spares guy at Steve Jarvin gets stuff in for me within two weeks, typically. That said, I've never had to get any glass, so it could take longer being a more fragile and larger item.

Like I said, if you want this sorted out in the least possible time, spend big at a dealership.

Think of it another way. The longer you wait for a cheaper solution, the sooner you could've had one on the way over from Japan. Personally, I'd spend the big bucks because it's a protective component of the vehicle - keeps the water out - and I don't fancy the idea of a mouldy, smelly car.

Since you have the time to wait, why not try looking on Yahoo Auctions via Import Monster?

A very, very quick look in the body part section showed a number of doors that still have the window inside.

You could also try Jesse Streeter. Giving him the part number will help both of you.

For someone asking for help, you don't seem to have provided much info. Which window? Is it a coupe or sedan?

If you don't have the part number, go to http://nissan.epc-data.com and find it.

Too easy mate... give Nissan King in NZ a call, they have the coupe and sedan for wreck (numerous cars) so sure to have what you need, they are pretty cheap also and will ship to australia.
