How would more springs do anything beneficial?

I have over boost problems.

The reason why I said that is because your EBC will need less duty cycle to achieve the boost requirements so it's working within a smaller range, where as now it's working to control boost in a greater range.... alternatively, just get a bigger gate.

I personally like to load up the gate with 75% of the targeted max boost.

Sure it can work, but if you are going to the extent of getting a true twinscroll manifold and rear housing, you surely have the cash to get twin gates, it's only an extra 3-400 depending on gate size, plus another solenoid.
