I run these in my shit box, seen plenty of track days, skidpans, 8k RPM launches, etc. with the first 2x motors.

And you guys know, I thrash my car when I can at the track.

Still using the same mounts, some slight vibration but nothing like a car with solid urethane ones. I get a bit of a rock with the idle braps too, extra hard c()nt at the lights.

Might be worth putting in better engine mounts(?), sounds like the stock OEM Nismo branded ones might tear with all the powahs.

They are labeled wrong, a gtst mount and a gtr mount are completely different

Started installing the inlet manifold

then the new nismo plenum went on, I didn’t take the lugs off because I like the original finish

also fitted an oil pressure regulator against the block under the manifold

If it's an opr40, oil feed in and turbo out lines are backwards - it matters on these, it's not a fuel reg where the top 2 side ports are common inlets.

Ok thanks glad someone picked that up, I didn’t read in the instructions and just assumed it didn’t matter. Will fix it up before I put the engine in

No worries, you can just rotate it 180 but your gauge port will be unusable obviously pointing towards the block.

All good I’m not putting a gauge in it so won’t be an issue

made all the sensors fit so that the ecu knows what going on and will also allow the factory dash to be retained

built all the scavenge lines, it has 2 from the sump and one straight out the back of the head. Also has a water line from the back of the head to the water neck that the top radiator hose attaches to

engine ready to be dropped into the car

By having a scavenge line from the head to the pump, doesn’t that take away from what yours trying to do? You have two points in the sump which would be “pulling down” then one at the top of the engine sucking. Kinda like a push and pull situation going on instead of all pull.

All of them are pulling which creates a vacuum in the crankcase, unless Porsche have been getting it wrong since the 60s

Nah man, Porsche have been doing it wrong for decades 😂😂😂
