I'm changing my alternator, now which alternator can I use to swap the old one with a better one (more amp)?

1st option is from a different car

and 2nd option is a new aftermarket one. <--- reason is dont have much $$$ righ now...

also I heard that its better to have an alternator with internal regulator

also the EA Falcon is common swap for the Datsun 1200s, they came with 75amp - 85amp, would this fit the 240K too?

any more models that will bolt on to L24 dont mind modifying the wiring as long as it can be bolted on to the stock mounting.

cheers guys

most older datsuns are interchangeable...the wiring should even be the same...

i dont know if the ea falcon one will fit....but any old datto that had factory fitted air con, should have a higher rated alternater...not by much tho.. maybe 10 amps on top of standard..

about 180 bucks( if i remember right)should get you a new 100 to 120 amp? it was years ago so maybe not.
