Another Rb25 Misfire Topic

If it's a boost leak, what am I doing wrong when I pressure test it because I can't find one?

Did you spray soapy water on all joints. Also can you hear any air coming out anywhere and do you get a presure reading or does it stay at 0. If so keep looking

Tried pressure testing again and no luck. Got a bit carried away and blew off the blanking cap I had on there. Checked voltage at fuel pump at idle and is 13.1v New fuel pump (bosch 023) arrived today. Will install when I get time and see if there is any change. Still waiting on fuel reg too

Ok. The car is officially running rich.

Either a boost leak or faulty coolant sensor.

What temp is the power fc displaying?

For me when my car was miss firing my plugs weren't gapped properly. They were about 1mm gap, lowered to 0.6mm and it runs mint under WOT all the way to redline in any gear.

They are currently gapped at 0.7

Looks like it's tune related. Adjusted the injector correction enough so that I don't get so much black smoke on boost. Now injector duty only goes as high as 77% so it'll still be rich but at least I can stop looking for other issues

Well I was in denial that the tune could've change when nobody had touched it. Lesson learned I guess

Did they change or are you randomly changing stuff?

Fitted nismo fuel reg and set base pressure at 42.5psi and no more problem.

Now get afr gauge and monitor that

I'll fit the new fuel pump tomorrow since I have it now anyway.
