Emre
You have nothing to worry about. I've had numerous dealings with Greenline and they've been nothing but superb. Most likely, the part you're after is out of stock temporarily. They will send it as soon as they receive it. INASNT
Yep got over $4000 of stuff from greenline recently, and the delay as emre said is when the dont have the part in stock and have to get it from supplier themselves. And some of those japanese suppliers are farking slow, especially HKS i was told. redline2003
INASNT, how much cheaper are the parts off greenline/nengun? i mean i look at the prices on their site and they seem too cheap to be true, granted there is still import tax, gst and freight, but when its delivered to your door, is there still that much of a saving? especially on the big items like coolers, exhausts, turbos etc. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/45829-problems-with-greenlinejp/#findComment-937464 Share on other sites
INASNT
Prices aint 2 cheap 2 be true, its just that the prices are marked up a shitload if you go to buy em in a shop here. If you get a bunch of stuff send together then you save alot on freight. I have never had to pay gst or import tax on any of the stuff i have got in luckly so yes i made a big saving. adznight
Yeah they are 100% fine. I had some stuf with a huge delay but got a refund as they could not supply. If it's Apexi stuff that may be why. AdvanR
Greenline and Nengun both aren't Jap company, they are local and just sell on the internet. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/45829-problems-with-greenlinejp/#findComment-937891 Share on other sites
INASNT
All you need is a good reliable supplier in japan and you can do that. The parts are shipped direct from japan to you, not to australia then through normal post to you. urbanoperations
i usually compare prices between nengun and greenline and buy from the cheapest... usually there is a bit of a diff in price... redline2003
so its all luck if you do/dont get hit by customs, ive spoken to a few people who regulary import stuff, not just car parts but clothes, shoes, perfumes etc and they also say theyve never been held at customs. the parts i want are mostly hks, apexi and trust so i should expect a delay Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/45829-problems-with-greenlinejp/#findComment-938304 Share on other sites
adznight
Yeah you have to be unlucky to get hit. Things like multiple packages to the same address or continued delivery over a long period will atract attention but for buyers liek you and I it's normally fine. I had all the same worries when I started buying but you will find they are pretty smart and mark it "gift" anyhoo. In my experience you will almost always have delays with parts from Japan. If it wern't for the price I wouldn't bother. Sooooo much easier to buy local but can't complain with $100+ savings Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/45829-problems-with-greenlinejp/#findComment-938328 Share on other sites
