Hi all,

Three weeks ago my GT 350 V35 stalled and at which time the SLIP, VDC off and check engine lights came on simultaneously.

I did the following:

-ECU reset procedure which cleared the error -- but then the error came back after the car been on for about 10 seconds.

-ECU diagnostics mode which gave me the error p0340 -- Camshaft Position senor -- which should be the passenger side (left for Aus, NZ, Japan etc)

-Ordered the replacement part and installed it, ECU reset procedure again -- everything seemed ok...

After doing the above -- the lights were back to normal (no errors) and performance had noticeably improved; however, after turning the car off then back on again, the lights are back on...

Any ideas?

Note: If i repeat the ECU reset procedure concurrent times, i can drive the car without any issue (performance or apparent ECU errors) -- the light comes on immediately after turning the car off then back on again. It's like the ECU is reverting to a backup memory (similar to running/ start memory on CISCO equipment)....

-Ta

wait.. isn't a p0340 code 'bank 1'? which is the right side (drivers side)?

When I had a 'bank 2' A/F ratio sensor fault, it was definitely the passenger side
