So I'm at a coin laundry drying a couch cushion that won't fit in my dryer. The place closes at 10, so I put in enough money till last till circa 9:50. It's now 10:05 and the machine still hasn't finished so I can't get my cushion out. The best bit is that at 10:00 pm the doors automatically lock, the lights go out and the security system turns on. Speaking of which, a rb25 bottom-end from a r32 rb25de means I can still use my rb20 head including all splits, injectors & loom.

Will become a rb20/25de+t though haha

why would you need new brakes if going 25? or coils? or injectors?

trust me.
had a 20, had a 25 and had a 26 and 25 is the favorite.
RB20 pros- REVS, cheap.
cons- no power

rb25 pros- cheap, torque
cons- none

Brakes required for engineering cert.
Coils tend to break beyond 200kw and injectors would require a clean or replace if dropping in a motor.

Yeah I'm not spending $5 - $8k on a $6k car unless I've exhausted all alternative options.

Don't fit rb25 - different injectors and coils required.
