I once test drove an RB20 for gearbox issues and while waiting for the turbo to spool, I swear a decrepit old lady zoomed past me in a Corolla laughing her ass off as vvti kicked in

from my facebook:

So I'm at a coin laundry drying a couch cushion that won't fit in my dryer. The place closes at 10, so I put in enough money till last till circa 9:50. It's now 10:05 and the machine still hasn't finished so I can't get my cushion out. The best bit is that at 10:00 pm the doors automatically lock, the lights go out and the security system turns on. So now I'm sitting here, in the dark, by my self, with the alarm blaring. Genius

Rekin, don't think of it as an engine swap, think of it as a 2.5L stroker for your RB20.

Not one person in the history of the world has ever regretted it.
You seem to love your R32. Do the single best thing you can ever do for it.

Speaking of which, a rb25 bottom-end from a r32 rb25de means I can still use my rb20 head including all splits, injectors & loom.

Will become a rb20/25de+t though haha

No vct though

Coils tend to break beyond 200kw and injectors would require a clean or replace if dropping in a motor.

your existing coils or injectors wont do the job?

RB20 isnt on this list, so maybe its ok?
