Didn't go hard enough

Would like a free rental out of them

If they don't come to the table they will cop the unhinged abuse and a 1 star google review that will surely destroy their business model

Yep, you need to give them time to get quotes and charge your card first...

I've noticed a few times that airport pickups are from undercover, but dropoffs are more often out in the sunlight... Much easier to see scratches and stuff in the sunlight, so you do miss a lot of things during the pickup inspection.

In Thailand we got some nice new scooters for a few days, only 1000km on them, we made the biggest show of taking dozens of photos of each one. They didnt try anything when we returned them...

To be fair, Eric didn't wait my mandated 24 hours before sending me a letter of liability or deliver on my requirement for pure Cambodian breast milk to accompany bullshit that comes my way; if they don't play by my rules I won't play by theirs.

We were silly and didn't take photos when hiring jetskis in Bali...lucky we had decent, genuine guys who seemed happy we were having such a blast. Might have helped we bought other shit from them and that they were close to a hotel so semi-official. I've heard if you book through a hotel you're a bit less likely to get ripped off.

Post scenario and photos on their FB page.

Get likes and shares and shitstrom erupts.

Get a free R33 rental for at least 5 years.

Their Facebook is a litany of similar complaints and templates apologies from them promising to follow up with the appropriate branch - my guess is they couldn't give a shit about one more

This is lulzworthy though

LOL

Wasteland providing the goods it's like the ye old times.

Birds definitely blast it on their FB that's complete BS.. I'll remember to take photos of any rental now.. never done it in the past, noob mistake obviously!

88E jumps 17% and closes 3.5 cents after being so stable for the last couple months...something brewing? We are approaching well re-opening date...

Did say to buy in when it was 1.8 cents, for the inevitable climb before the well opens again!

    • Excuse me for butting in....but which part of ADHD can be considered a superpower? I would have though it far more likely that some ASD comorbidity is more likely to be contributing to an ability to hyperfocus on something. ADHD being aimed somewhat in the other direction. My shed looks like your shed. My whiteboard list of unfinished projects has entries going back 15 years. I know what you're talking about - I just struggle to connect ADHD to the results being discussed.
    • Thanks for reaching out!  It's a blessing and a curse at the same time.  I'm undiagnosed but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see it in me... I have more half started projects laying around my house, shed, garden, etc taking up space and money, destroying aesthetics than if I added up all of my mates projects together. But, ADHD gives me the ability to hyper focus on things that no mere mortal could even  comprehend.  A recent pool build is an example of that....  I dont know anyone else that would be dumb enough and focused enough to take on then complete something of that magnitude. I call ADHD a superpower but it can equally be completely destructive if not controlled and focusedon the right places. Addiction is a major concern to ADHD people and thankfully my addictions have been no worse than projects, XBOX, chocolate and being an arsehole! It's often hereditary and my 13 year old son is currently learning how to drive it at the moment. Keep lurking! If i can finally finish this bloody thing at some point it will be a win for all of us ADHD'ers! 🤪
    • I've been quietly following this thread for ages, but this one got me. Since my ADHD diagnosis (and associated learnings and prescription) I'm way less inclined to wade into forum yarns when there are better things to do with my time, as half the time I'd end up in some kind of forum debate even if that wasn't my intention. I've not lost the ADHD "superpowers", just am a lot better at directing my hyperfocus into slightly more constructive things, but haven't stopped quietly lurking in here in my spare time.
    • Stripped the tank down and gave it a good scrub. It came up really good! Not sure if I'll just put it back in like that or give it a blackening treatment (such as Bowdens The Black Box). That might give it a matte look so might just run it as is.
    • @MBS206 Ha ha, yeah ADHD is a daily battle to not get drawn in to doing things you want to do that you know you shouldn't do!  Every single time I walk into my shed I end up doing something I started the day having zero intention of doing! I keep mentioning the 1 step forward, 3 steps back scenario and I'm tipping people that are blessed with ADHD (yes, blessed) are the worst at that!
