I recall, (i think it was fatz) suggesting a few couriers to get some wheels from Sydney to melbourne.

Doesnt have to be overnight courier or anything, but cheap would be good.

Anyone have any suggestions.... for a lazy $100 im a chance of getting someone i know to backload it on a trip back to Melb, but id rather spend the money and get the rims now, not when he can do it.

Having sent rims interstate before I used Scotts Transport at Revesby. From memory it was $40 for a half pallet. Only catch is you have to drop off and pick up the rims from their depot. But if cheap is your aim it can't be done any cheaper than that.

Ok, found the details anyway. Their melbourne contact details are:

19-21, Link Road, Brooklyn, ph: (03) 9314 4877

and in Sydney:

Scott's Transport 202 - 214 Milperra Road Revesby, NSW ph. (02) 9773 3355

Your rims are ugly anyway, you don't want them...

But at least they're nicer than Chris's ones :spew:

:)

I prefer to be called ugly then WRXBOY... Note to self : Gold was a bad move

... i want to be like Steve, got one of his turbos, half the driven wheels he has, and now got lookalike wheels

..and thanks mmmGTIR

p.s. Scott's transport told me they don't do small or personal items.

The bar stewards. They've done it for me a few times now. Wheels (a couple of times) and a cat back exhaust once too.

hmmm. I *may* have given them the impression that it was a business thing though. But I sure didn't supply any ABN or anything and I paid in cash.

Richard

I posted a set to melb not long ago, about $70 from memory....just get big box :D

The Post Office generally wont accept anything over a certain girth. Can't think of it off the top of my head but it's listed on their site.

Richard

I just had to pick up an exhaust system from the post office, a "trainee" accepted it for delivery then the postmaster there had a hissy fit and handed it back. At first they said anything with a dimension larger than 150cm is too big, then he said 100cm....

Need to find a courier asap... if all else fails I'll TNT the sucker.

Still doesn't change the fact that your rims are horrid. Ever wonder why no-one out here has them?

Whose rims...mine, your kidding right, they rule... i like to experiment with colours :P

Scotts wont touch them, but just founf a place called Vic Valley couriers that will do it for $60, an acquanitance (i have no friends because my wheels im told are lame:Oops: ) has used them without probs.

Since they are so ugly you are probably right to wheel them out and leave them on the curb unitlt hey get picked up, they wont get stolen, but their ghastly appearance might drop real estate prices in your streer

Yeah, Andrew's rims are the shockers. I can't comment on yours Troy cause Steve's got them too... although now they are the RVR rims. Go the Spastic Van!

Might look different on the car though, have to wait and see. If I'm bored I'll put them on my car :P

    • I should note too as I have all 4 wheel speed inputs to the emtron I now have the emtron controlling the attessa solenoid for 4wd/traction and launch control strategies.
