Can Q45 AFMs be used on GTR with Power FC?

Does anyone know if twin Q45 AFMs can be used on a RB26DETT with a Power FC instead of Z32 ones?

Yes.

There is a setting for which AFM's you are using.

Hang on... I know you can use the Q45, but I vaguely remember there are a few "very minor" complications... don't hold me to it but I think:

1. The power fc does not have a seletion for the Q45 as opposed to the Z32??

2. Something to do with the installation of the Q45's, a lot more fiddling and more parts required??

Again don't hold me to it, but we were looking to go that way for our GTR, instead we opted for the Z32's.

The resolution with 2 Q45's will be pretty poor, you won't be able to fine tune it as the steps are pretty large.

Having said that, you could tune it well for extremely high power levels.... like 700kw at the wheels.
