Turbo Wheels...

Hi all, I have a bitsa turbo and I'm wondering if the wheels are standard RB25 wheels or some stronger aftermarket wheels. The front housing is GT3071 and the rear housing is standard RB25, just wondering if the wheels are standard or not based off these pictures

It looks like some sort of high flow. No idea who did the highflow but it's definitely not standard.

That's pretty much the answer I was hoping for, as long as they aren't standard they should be better/stronger. I have no idea who did it either as it was on the car when I bought it.

it could be a garrett gt3071 with the rb25 rear housing machined to suit.

if it's a garrett, there should be a plate on the centre core with some numbers.

give us the numbers and we can confirm which core it is.

Nah there's no numbers on the core, think it's a standard 25 core

That aint a standard 25 core...

If you are worried, take it to Precision turbo's or somewhere, and get someone to check it out for you.

whatever it is, it aint the factory rb25 turbo so put it back on and crank the boost right up

that's more than likely done by precicios turbo in Wetherill Park, A 3071 made to fit the rb housing. Ive used the same thing on a Mitsubishi years ago

Ah ok, I'm just not sure because the core doesn't appear to be garrett as there's no logo/part number/Markings on the core

I take it that it's going to be almost impossible to tell what the power capabilities of the turbo are?
