Noisey Bushes

recently had super pros fitted front and rear because the original bushes were fubar. When it's dry they are pretty loud squeak wise, when wet (ie: when raining) they quieten up heaps.

Would I be right in thinking that not enough grease is on them? Or are super pros are generally noisey? Would spraying silicon spray help the noise at all?

I lubricated all my superpro bushings with boat grease when I installed them. None of the rear control arms squeaked in the 3 years they've been on there. I also put grease nipples on the front arms and have lubricated them since, but who knows if that was ever necessary.

they should of had a silicone ptfe base grease applied on installation, you can give them a squirt silicone spray but this will only last a week or two before they are heard again

Ive installed nolathane bushes with the grease supplied and they got noisy eventually.

Have been told its a common issue with poly bushes.

Thanks guys, I figured the poly bushes aren't going to be as quiet as the originals. Just didn't think there'd be this much noise with them done

The superpro ones should have negligible effect on NVH, and they certainly shouldn't be squeaking. There's no reason to live with that.

A lot of the newer Whiteline and nolathane bushings are PTFE lined, which require no greasing.

Volume control on stereo turn up to level squeak can not be heard..problem solved.

that'd involve me spending money to improve sound quality out of stereo that's in it at the moment... no one wants to hear shit sound loud.
