666DAN
Kinda inspired by one of my comments in another thread...it got me thinking about a conversation I had with my GF a little while back. Basically I figured out if I had to go back in time to a certain year and live there and be completely happy...it'd have to be 1989!!! Let's face it you could buy a GTR back then, Maccas came in those cool polystyrene box things...and the rave scene was emerging and way cool. We're in 2004 now and I can remember thinking back in '89 that it was going to be all hover-cars, laser guns and other cool things! We still have tyres dammit!!! So strap yourself into the Delorean, turn the flux capacitor on, cause we're going back to 1989........basically do you guys thing 'the future' was a major let-down and what year do you think you could be quite happy living in? BTW I am not currently under the influence of drugs Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/45977-sau-cruise-to1989/ Share on other sites
