What is this device?

This little device was in my car when I bought it, I've asked numerous people what it is but no ones really had any idea?

strutto, suggested it was an AFC or ITC, as the wires were pretty much hooked up to what an AFC would be.

Anyone got any definate ideas?

Looks like the control box for an Apexi power meter. Your missing the screen that plugs into that empty socket

The power meter displays things like speed, RPM, throttle position, inj duty cycle plus a heap of other stuff.

You can also set warning levels for all of them.

A mate has one in his GTR, looks cool, but can only display stuff, can't adjust any of the ECU stuff at all.

He has it stuck up just above the aircon unit, it's pretty much on all the time I think. It's good to monitor things, but being just a monitor I think after a while you wouldn't tend to use it much.
