18*9.5 too big for a r32 gtr?

Hi, i was just wondering if these size rims with 265/35/18 will lead to a rapid useof tyres?? like will they tend to lose rubber at a quicker rate then standard rims of 8" across..

like will the force of the car be a little too much on the inside on the tyre therefore wear quickly or does this not apply? WOuld love to here peoples thoughts

ive had 18s on my car with no problems, but if your worried about spending money on tyres, seriously stick to 16s or 17s. 18s can get pretty expensive when it comes to a good quality tyre

Ive got 18*9 on the back of my gtst so i think they should be fine on a gtr
