+1 on Mazda 3.

I've been driving a mazda 2 since 2008 when the new shape came out, honestly the most bullet proof car I've ever driven. It used to do 100-120km a day for about 4 years every single day, some days sitting in traffic for hours in 40 degree heat with the ac going. Never had anything go wrong with it, it has just had it's typical warranty services and now just regular oil and filter changes. Plenty of power for overtaking too even with the auto, i'd say it would keep up with a v6 commodore without too much trouble.

The only car I would upgrade to would be the Mazda 3. Just a nicer car, better build quality, materials used, better gearing and torque for highway driving. Compared with other cars out there for the money I think it's one of the best cars you could get.

Toyota Cressida,

I just bought myself a Mx83 Grande with 140K on the clock.
