Bite Night #1 - October 10th - Mister Gee Burger Truck

Recommended Posts

Howdy All!

Welcome to the inaugural "Bite Night" event, where we band our stomachs and cars together in search for some of the tasty treats that Sydney has to offer.

For our first ever Bite Night event, I'd like to introduce you all to the amazing Mister Gee Burger Truck. A man of extraordinary talent, Mister Gee offers an amazing burger, fries and shake each week for our enjoyment.

DATE: Saturday 10th October

DESTINATION: Mister Gee Burger Truck, Haberfield (located at 315 Parramatta Rd, Haberfield)

SCHEDULE:

5.30pm - Meet at Concord High School @ 3 Stanley Street, Concord (Located off Burwood Rd - the school is adjacent to St Luke's Park, Concord)

6.00pm - Depart for Mister Gee Burger Truck (approx 10-15 min away). Some parking will be available on the premises, with more parking in the adjacent street - Dobroyd Pde.

8.00pm - Depart from Mister Gee Burger Truck (will have to see how we go for departure time - the queues at Mister Gee's can be insane from early in the night!!). From Mister Gee's, we'll be heading for a drive to a particular location for some photos and a nice view of the city..

8.30pm - Arrive at "Location" for photos.

After photos, the event will be wrapping up, and we'll disperse.

While this is not an official SAU event, all road rules will be adhered to on the evening. Any stupid behaviour on the road will be responded to with a pleasant request to leave the event. There is no need to get Tracy involved.....

Most importantly, let's make the night an enjoyable one!! =)

    • Hey, like MBS206 mentioned; I dropped off my short block and rotating assembly Monday. With a quick verification, he believes he can clear it up with just a hone and new rings but he will confirm once the rotating assembly is out. If I were you, I would either go stroker or just replace the block if it does need to be bored over to next size. Block is cheaper then forged pistons.
    • live in the UK, and London has introduced a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) that requires individuals to pay £13 if their car doesn’t meet the required emissions standards.   The standard specifies that NOx emissions must be less than 0.08 g/km (i.e., the vehicle must meet Euro 4 standards or better, which generally results in NOx levels of around 0.08 grams per kilometer).   I reached out to Nissan UK, and they advised me to contact Nissan Japan directly. Does anyone have contact details for Nissan Japan or any certifications of conformity that show the emission details or NOx levels for the RB25DET engine?   Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    • these guys recommended to me and supplied custom 4 inch mufflers, couldn't be happier. They will spec a muffler to your preferred level of sound and know RB's well.  https://spmufflers.com.au/
    • Yeah this used to happen to me every year and a quick call would at least raise the agreed value back up / reduce the premium, but usually both.    That said for the first time on the renewal this year our agreed values went up or stayed the same over the fleet and the premium came down so that was a nice surprise.
    • I don't even go that hard core. I just say "how do you expect me to stay, when you increase my premium, and reduce the value of the car?"   Then play a game of shut the f**k up. Most of the time it's a computer that did the adjustment, and the people will happily change it around for you.
