R33 Boost Solenoid

Hey guys real quick question in regards to factory rb25 boost solenoid

Noticed while doing some stuff that a block connecter that goes to the solenoid is disconnected and had been for a while

Running turbo smart boost tee on 14 psi stock turbo only minor mods exhaust fmic etc

Curious if it's meant to be connected because I certainly didn't remove it unless the tuning shop did when they installed the tee and ECU

Should it be connected ?

I will save you some pain; if you install any boost control instead of, or in addition to, the factory one it should be disconnected. Although removing it completely and running new boost controller would be what most ppl do. There's at lease one DIY on this, have a read thru for more info.
