Mfd Issue

Hi,

After some info on the MFD screen whether needs replacing the film or the screen itself.

Its for 1999 Non Vspec R34 GTR so I'm assuming Sharp screen.

Yup, polarizer film is toast.

Can be DIY fix with some new film- or I might have a replacement LCD at home you can buy off me if you want to replace. (Only LCD unit - not includes drive board on rear of lcd- use your own)

Theres a good facebook group called R34 GTR MFD that has lots of good info including how to tell the Sharp vs Toshiba based on what appears on different screents.

I've replaced polarizer film and still same problem so I'm guessing either screen itself or driverboard. or whole bloody mfd unit. Where can I get them? Anyone?

I got a replacement for mine through the guy on Facebook (R34 GTR MFD)
Arrived within days and i was able to install it myself (doesn't sound like much but i'm a muppet)

Works perfectly and looks so much better than the burnt up one i had.
