On the converse, I opted AGAINST a stock engine replacement and got it built, forged, rebuilt, rebuilt, rebuilt, broken, rebuilt, broken and rebuilt and haven't driven a car in anger for like 9 years because always off the road always broken.

There is a lot of smarts in the "Stock engine, mild turbo upgrade, and spend time ENJOYING IT" path of the RB.
