Abs Light

First off sorry if this the wrong section. A week ago in my R32 GTS4 the ABS light on the dash went on and stays on all the time now when in 4WD. When i flick the switch into 2WD the light goes off. The brakes work fine, no noise, no fade and then switch back to 4WD and the light goes on again. Does ABS only work in 4WD? Is there something wrong with the ABS system? I can't read Japanese to check the fuses. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks in advance. :confused:

The fuse is in the fuse block down by your right knee. In Japanese, ABS is "ABS".

The switch you have for engaging 2WD is not a factory item, so there is no telling what effect it has on the ABS light working or not working.

damn i never checked that fuse as i didnt know ABS meant ABS in japanese, for all i know it could have meant Abnormal Bondage Session fuse.

Think I remember when mine was coming on it needed the brake fluid filled?

No maybe it was the AWD reservoir in the back???

Damn that's the trouble with getting old.

Anyway check them all....

Great thing about the GTS4 is you know when one of your tyres are going down slowly as the AWD starts coming in all the time;-)

cool thanks, i'll try them all-didn't see an ABS fuse though-but it was late late. and what's the AWD reservoir in the back??
