Are Lovells springs any good?

Hey peoples,

I've just ordered a set of Lovells springs for my Sihouette, I'm told they're pretty good, what do you guys think of them?

i had a set on my old silhouette.

very nice height, and they were still comfortable whilst stiff.

I suggest you get shortened arm shocks to match, as the standard shocks WILL bottom out, I guarantee 100%. The handling will be crap with standard shocks too.

I also had a set of king springs, I thought the lovells were much better.

I have to get new springs on my R32, it had kings on it so i was going to replace them with kings (one had sagged) but the bloke i talked too said lovells were much better for the same price.

I have them in my Silo Bluprint.I can't really comment on the ride coz I have stock electronic jap inserts in the front that are farked and shittty munroes in the rear.Koni's will fix that soon

I can say the ride height is excellent thou.

Yeah my mate runs a muffler shop and he says lovells are as good as king springs (which I have) if not better, but are less expensive and Australian made.

I picked up the car on Friday morning, the Lovells have improved the handling to no end...it's like driving a different car...I just have to point & shoot now. I can't wait tog et the rest of the suspension done.

I'm pretty happy with them now, though I am a bit concerned about the rear ride height, it's maybe a centimetre too low for my liking (God I'm pedantic )

But other than that I'd say they are well worth it
