Power Fc And Active Lsd On R33 Gtr

Does the lack of A-LSD support on the power FC make it a bad choice to install on a r33 GTR.

No it has nothing to do with your LSD

so the active lad system should work fine without error on the r33 GTR? I've read on older posts that there is issues with the compatability and that a couple of wires on the loom have to be joined together. Or is that only for the r33 gts-t

I dont see why. It runs off its own ECU

But ive never dealt with A-LSD. And that makes me happy

That Power-FC issue is only for the gtst so no need to worry.

Will work fine on the Gtr providing you use the correct ecu, the r33 or rb26 code ecu.

I have a power fc on my 34 GTR Vspec and there are no issues with the A-LSD, Like others have said there is a different computer that runs the LSD and the AWD systems.

Had an opportunity to speak to a tuner and they confirmed that is only a Gtst issue.

If you got the information from the PowerFC FAQ guide it clearly states it in there. So you wasted your time really.

if you have not bought the PowerFC look into getting something more advanced/modern with basic engine protection such as lean out, knock protection, low oil, over temp etc.

Yep I agree, I bought a Power FC for my 34 like 4 years ago. I do wish i had bought a haltech instead. they have much more available in the way of engine protection and features.
