Hey Guys,

Would you be able to recommend any workshops that specialise in the R32 GTR / RB26 in the USA? For engine building, maintenance and dyno tuning

Location does not matter.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

I can't really say there's a shop known to "specialize" in RBs here in the US. They're pretty rare over here since Skylines weren't legal until recently. RB swaps are more common but still few and far between.

I know of a few shops with RB experience on the West Coast and a couple on the East. It would be easier to answer your question if you specified a region of the States since as I said there really isn't a particular shop renowned for RB tuning. R35 GT-Rs I can rattle off good shops till you die of boredom, R32s not so much.

You guys don't have good sr tuners around? I'm sure someone that has dabbled in imports or the 240sx that you have over there would be able to find their way around a 32.

Imagine if someone went over and made a dedicated skyline workshop. Probably make a killing with the influx of rb's coming in.

The SR20 was never offered here from the factory either so any cars with them are swaps. The 240SX here came with the KA24 which is basically a truck engine lol. There are lots of shops that can suss out both the SR and RB but very few that can really be said to specialize in them. There's plenty of SR and RB swapped cars here but compared to the huge number of cars with factory powerplants - VG, VQ, VR, etc - they're a very small fraction so most shops specialize in the more common ones and do the oddball imports on the side.
