I've got a CVT and love it.....but that's my daily which spends 90 of it's life in stop start traffic.

Otherwise give me stick. A car has to have a fun pedal.

I absolutely believe autos/DSG/CVT have their place. I love my Bora's 6 speed but jesus christ I'd love it to be auto when I'm commuting.

The Passat is the laziest car in the world, just point and shoot. Its so good at doing that.

Both my cars are autos since my wife has a back injury and can't use a clutch for long. I dearly miss rowing my own though, so whenever I rent a car I make sure I get a manual and drive it accordingly.
