Camshaft Position Sensor

Hi guys,

Cars at the mechanics at the moment, probably needing cam position sensors as its throwing codes and killing itself.

My question is, are their aftermarket options for the 30dd, rather than the domesticly available 35de (Z, maxima etc...) or are they interchangeable?

Ask Nissan for the part number and eBay search that! That's what I did for my vq25det and loads of aftermarket options. I bought a few in case they fail but it's been in there for a year so far with no issues.

Yeah a NZ Nissan dealer has the part numbers online. Says 2000-2001 maxima. I suppose engines are engines

I ordered a few direct from China and had issues, personally I would be buying genuine ones from Amayama UAE if you can wait. I think they were $90ea last I got a quote. Much cheaper than the $200 Nissan wanted at the stealership.

Shipping from Japan will be quite a bit cheaper.. so allow for that with the item price difference between UAE And Japan.

I have only ordered from UAE when there was a significant price difference.
