DanEdser
So I recently bought GKTech's braided clutch line for my r33 gts25t, installed it today, bled it from the slave cylinder properly using a vacuum bleeding kit, made sure there are no air bubbles, and now the clutch just goes straight to the floor! Anyone had this issue?? What is the fix?? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/461181-braided-clutch-line-install-issues/ Share on other sites

admS15
Does it still have the damper? If so you will need to bleed that too. There should be another nipple. DanEdser
Nope the GKTech kit replaced the damper, goes straight from the master cylinder to slave cylinder I'm thinking the fluid isnt entering the slave cylinder properly, as it bleeds from the bleed nipple with no air or anything, but doesn't seem to push the slave what-so-ever Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/461181-braided-clutch-line-install-issues/#findComment-7641693 Share on other sites
Sick_R31
Did you bleed the master cylinder after bleeding the slave cylinder? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/461181-braided-clutch-line-install-issues/#findComment-7641702 Share on other sites

kingtube69
Had the same problem when I bled mine months and months ago. Cracked the master nipple and bled it and it was good again. dyl33
If I've replaced the clutch line should I bleed the slave first and then the master or the master first then to slave? Im thinking slave first to fill the system with fluid and then release any air in the master? GTSBoy
Always bleed a master before trying to bleed the line. That's the point of having a bleeder on a master. Having said that, you will inevitably end up going back and forth between them trying to get a pedal anyway. So it probably doesn't matter.
